FRIENDS YOU DON'T NEED IN YOUR LIFE!!!!

The kinds of friends you don't need? This should be fairly obvious, but I know people that have friends they don't need...  

      You got those so called friends that will viciously attack you behind your back, then if you call them on it they're all apologetic. You should forgive them, but the chances are they meant every word of it and it might be a good idea to just cut them loose. Especially if you catch them twice! I have in the past caught someone degrading me twice that was supposed to be a friend.  

               Then you got those friends that just use you for a ride because they have no car, other than that you may be of little use to them. Only you can tell that. How about those ones that are all lovey dovey when they want you to do them a favor only to ignore you later.  

Then you have the type that are manipulators. They'll play on your emotions to get their way or go as far as getting angry when they don't get their way! They may even use the “You owe me” tactic. Use the Martial Laws of Happiness here. Take your emotions out of the picture and you will see more clearly if a friend is a manipulator. If they are, use Laws 1 & 2 on my profile. You can't change them and you can't control what is out of your control. Meaning, the odds of you persuading them to be different are slim at best, cut them loose and don't let them play on your emotions.  

There's also the type that will more than gladly talk to you out of the public eye. They may not acknowledge you when around other peers or they may be embarrassed if you approached them while with their friends. A true friend would never be humiliated to be seen with you!  

The more dangerous types of so called friends will get you in a mess of trouble. The risk takers that always want you to come along and do what ever risk taking they're partaking in! Or they'll ask you to do things that put you in harms way or get you caught up in the legal system. Or they may drink alcohol in your car or worse yet, get pulled over and your so called friends have drugs and you're in quite a mess. Ever hear of "guilt by association"? You could get nailed for something just because you chose to hang with people that were risk takers and/or law breakers.  

Of all I listed above, a true friend would never do any of those things! Who you choose to hang out with may very well have an impact on your destiny! Pick your friends very carefully. A true to heart friend is very difficult to find in this day and age...  

Don't pick someone as a friend just because they're popular and don't suck up to the popular crowd because you would just look like a scrub.  

Look at the inside of a person, not just the surface! Meaning, look at what's in their heart, look at their habits and what they do in their daily life. Never mind what color or nationality they are, never mind if they're overweight or ugly in everybody else's eyes. Look at their heart.  

Remember, a friend should like you for you regardless. Be yourself and not someone your not. Being fake isn't cool
