WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY????.....

Most people hope and think they will go to heaven. They aren't positive where they will go. 1 John 5:12-13 says, "He who has the Son has life; and he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life."
It takes more then just believing there is a God to secure salvation. The Bible says that even the demons in hell believe there is a God and yet they will not be saved. The answer is in Romans 10:9,10 "That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Salvation comes through believing that Jesus is the Son of God and confessing him as Lord.
If you believe Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for your sins and rose again, you can know for sure that you'll go to heaven.
Pray this ~ God in Heaven, I know i'm a sinner and i need your help. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is your Son, that He died on the cross for my sins and God raised Him from the dead." Jesus, right now i open my heart and invite You to come in. Make Yourself real to me. Take control of my life. Keep me from evil and help me be the kind of person you want me to be. Be my Lord and Saviour.
If you said that prayer go tell some one, Jesus is your Lord.

Friendships and arguments

Friendships go through a trial of arguments and misunderstandings. Something a friend or a person close to you can ruin the whole friendship all together. The best way to move on with life is to forgive and forget. We all know that when we let go of things and it will lighten the load. But that's easier said then done. Here are a couple of things you can do to smoothen the process:
  1. Think of what happened.
  2. Acknowledge your feelings. Seek out for anger or hurt or sadness that you might feel.
  3. Accept responsibility for your own emotions. If you were wronged and your emotions maybe justified, it's still up to you to be ready to stop feeling angry or upset.
  4. Talk to the other person of the behavior that make you feel upset or angry. You might not feel ready to forgive until the person had heard and understood your point of view.
  5. Try and understand the other person's point of view. Even if you don't agree with him/her.
  6. Rebuild trust in the relationship. Make agreements about what is acceptable future behavior when the situation calls.
  7. Make a decision to forgive. Tell that to the other person. Once you've done this make sure you really move on and that you make all efforts to let go completely.

What Price Friendship?

when i was reading this it made me cry and i tot about so many pple dat call them selves my friend (SMH)

If you have the answer to the question please feel free to leave it in the comments.
Quiet giggles in a corner
Shared jokes
Laughter and Yeats over a samosa
Bust-ups and making up
Those were the days when anything went

Angry words soon forgotten
Insults that never stuck
Fights and arguments the norm
But the feelings remained the same

Time passed
People changed
With it, the nature of friendship

Words became barbs
Looks did kill
Patience and love, non-existant.
This isn’t friendship
This isn’t relationship
This is nothing.

And so,
here we are today,
askingwhat price friendship?

What are friends for?

What are your friends for? Do you ever ask yourself that? Sometimes you get caught up with things that are sad or stressful like the recent events that have shocked the nation. And you look for answers that are not there. Things may happen for a reason or they may not have one at all but friends are there. And friendships are there for a reason. Here's a video of Westlife -- it's an old song done in a different way but that song never grows old for me. For good times and bad times that's what friends are for...

My Favorite Blair Waldorf Outfits and Trends

In honor of Gossip Girl coming back soon, this post is a list of some of my favorite Blair Waldorf outfits. (Yes, I am quite obsessed with her style.)

I loved this picture. It's quintessential Blair with the red, white, and blue. She seems to wear red with white or blue quite often. (I have to admit my winter wardrobe contains primarily red, white, and blue. It's so easy to mix and match!)

I must admit I like Jenny's outfit better. It looks more glamorous and is more of an evening look. Nevertheless, I definitely still like Blair's outfit.

This outfit is lovely with her cherry red lipstick!
I believe this is her casual look (as it looks rather similar to what I wear to school everyday). I find the colors just lovely.
And it seems Chuck Bass has the same casual look.

I'm not a huge fan of the color, but I find the matching of the white coat with the white of the bow just adorable.

They match even when they aren't speaking to each other! They look like they are a couple transported from the 1960's!
I couldn't resist- I just had to post this picture of the Serena protection blockade.

Blair looks lovely in green.

Here is a better picture.

I really liked this outfit of Blair's despite the fact that it strays somewhat from her normal attire.

Yet another picture of Blair's casual attire. Sadly I could not find a better photo. I truly like this polo, but I might be slightly biased as I have an extremely similar one from Ralph Lauren.

And it seems that Chuck likes green and white stripes as well.
I adore this outfit. The bag is fab as well. If you look closely, you will see that her collar is checkered just like Chuck's collar in the picture directly above.
She seems to wear many white/khaki/grey items as well.

It's so elegant. I'm a huge fan of the bow!

I loved this white, eyelet dress. Look they match again! Great minds think (well, plot) alike!

A few Thanksgiving pictures...
I generally do not like brown very much, but this outfit is pretty awesome. I adore the mini cape.
It's a Lorick dress.

The last time I posted on this necklace, I did not remember when Blair wore it, but I’ve since found where the anchor necklace shows up!

In this scene I personally liked Serena's outfit more, but Blair does look quite chic!

With the party lighting and all, it's quite difficult to find a good picture of this outfit. While Blair has worn many dark-colored dresses, this dress is my favorite. I also really like her hair in this scene. Sadly this picture does not do justice to how lovely Blair looked in this scene.

Blair Waldorf has an amazing selection of blazers. This one is my favorite. Oooh! They match again! (In case you haven't noticed, I'm quite a fan of the "Waldass" relationship.)
Blair seems to wear a white top and dark (often navy) skirt. This is generally a very figure-flattering choice for most people as I've heard that wearing black (a dark color) makes a person look 28% thinner than wearing white.

Who could forget this Chuck and Blair plotting scene?

I love this sweater.
Here's somewhat of a close-up of the bow from the last pic. I have a very similar bow.

She even looks so put together whether she is taking her SATs...

... or hosting a "study party".

I like both of their outfits in this scene. Serena's is rumpled and stays true to her Kate Moss/ just-woke-up-and-jumped-out-of-bed look, and Blair's looks classy and chic with a belt. I cannot imagine what it would look like if they switched looks.

I liked the backless dresses!
The following are picture of Leighton Meester, the actress who protrays Blair Waldorf. I find many of her outfits quite pretty.
I saw the pictures from this photo shoot. They are just lovely.

Leighton Meester and Blake Lively at what looks like TRL. Is that a bow I spy?

The color of this Versace dress is just fab. The cut is quite lovely as well.
How "Blair" is this outfit?

I can't wait for the new season; I've seen some spoiler pictures, and I must say, some of the outfits are fab. I'm not quite sure how many of you dislike spoilers, so I'll hold off on posting such pics. Tell me if you want me to blog on my favorite season two (spoiler) outfits!

I'm slowly discovering that I'm way too obsessed with this character.

YES(y)OR NO (n)

I have a question for you...Yes or no when it comes to bows? I am in favor, I must say. I love how such a small accent like a bow, whether it is part of a shirt or made into a ring or necklace, can add the most perfect, yet subtle feminine touch to any outfit. So, tell me, what do you think? I would love to know your thoughts!

Wardrobe-Must-Haves-For-Every-Girl

Every girl wants to have the perfect wardrobe and as one buys one item after the other –the closer it is for them to achieving their goal. Money is not easy to get though since one has to work very hard to get enough for one’s daily needs. This makes it harder for people who love to shop to actually shop. Designer clothes cost too much and at this time and age, buying designer clothes is no longer advisable especially for those who are working on a tight budget. Do not fret though because there is still a chance for you to revamp your wardrobe without having to spend a lot of money. This is by going to a vintage store. But apart from going to a vintage store or a thrift shop to get things that you like, what are you supposed to have in your wardrobe? Something that you would need in mixing and matching your clothes.

 Denim Skirt
Denim skirts may look simple but they are a must-have for every girl. They can be paired with just about anything and they do not go out of style. You can use them during the summertime, or in winter or spring or fall –they are timeless.

 A Good Pair Of Jeans
A good pair of jeans is always important for every girl’s wardrobe. Jeans are very versatile and can be paired with a formal blouse or a t-shirt if you don’t feel like dressing up. Jeans can be paired with flat shoes, boots, pumps and platform shoes.

 Little Black Dress
Every girl must have a little black dress for those special occasions. You little black dress can be worn as is or be adorned with accessories or worn with a good jacket to make it look more professional.

Celebrity Chic on the Cheap: Blake Lively is Red Hot

I can’t get enough of Blake Lively. In my humble opinion, she is one of the consistently most well-dressed celebs. Her street style is always fresh and eye-catching, and her red carpet style never ceases to dazzle. I love how her style is the perfect marriage of California casual, edgy haute couture and pure elegance. Recently, she was spotted on the set of Gossip Girl rocking a perfect laidback summer fashionista ensemble.

red maxi skirt - Nordstroms, $44.90;  chainlink necklace - Target, $19.99; floral vest - Urban Outfitters, $29.99. white tank - $10.00; flip flops - Zappos, $18.00
It took me a long time to accept the “maxi” trend. I thought maxi skirts and dresses were frumpy, unflattering and I was completely bewildered by their popularity. But lately, I have come to appreciate their simplicity, and as long as they’re constructed with texture, and not like my grandmother’s living room curtains, I can give maxis a thumbs up. I’m a huge fan of the bright, bold red shade, and has some slight ruShing to give it a bit of structure. Paired with a plain white tank and a floral vest, this becomes a flirty, feminine ensemble.
As for the accessories, gold bangles are always appropriate. They’re glam and fun and always spruce up an outfit. And I love Blake’s choice of a chain link necklace. It adds an unexpected edgy feel. I love the contrast with the overall softness of the rest of the outfit. And, while I hate flip flops, I hate them a tad bit less with maxi skirts (maybe because they’re kind of hidden?) I have heard nothing but great things about Havianias, in terms of comfort and durability. Bright colors and interesting accessories are key to elevating a basic outfit to a stylish one!
